Their neighbors told the media that the knowledge had devastated his parents and that they were unable to face the public. They did, however, attend the public memorial service on February 24, 2020, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Pam was still stunned because she had been unable to speak during the event.

Sharia Washington, Kobe Bryant’s sister, posted an emotional message about the late basketball legend on Instagram on what would have been his 45th birthday.

Washington said in the caption of her birthday tribute, “Your physical presence is missed every day, but your legacy will live on forever.” Happy birthday, Bean!  “Love you,” Washington wrote.
