DeMarcus Cousins is an American professional basketball player who plays in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Mets de Guaynabo of Puerto Rico’s Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He was born to Monique and Jessie Cousins on August 13, 1990, in Mobile, Alabama. DeMarcus Cousins, also known as Boogie. He has a younger brother of professional basketball player Jaleel Cousins.

Cousins attended LeFlore Magnet High School. In 2009, he was a first-team Parade All-American and played in the McDonald’s All-American Boys Game, finishing with 14 points and 8 rebounds.

He was an All-American in 2010 while playing collegiate basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. He departed Kentucky after one season and was taken by the Sacramento Kings as the fifth overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft.

Cousins was chosen to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in his first season with the Kings, and he was an NBA All-Star four times from 2015 to 2018. He has also won two gold medals with the US national team, the first in 2014 at the FIBA Basketball World Cup and the second in 2016 at the Rio Olympics.

Jaleel Cousins is a professional basketball player from the United States. He played basketball in college for Navarro College and South Florida. Jaleel was born in Mobile, Alabama, USA on December 1, 1993.

Jaleel first attended LeFlore Magnet High School in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama, but transferred to Spanish Fort High School as a senior. As a senior for the Toros, he was named to the ASWA All-State Class 5A team.

Jaleel started his college career at Navarro College, where he averaged 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds as a freshman and 7.1 points and 4.8 rebounds as a sophomore. Jaleel was transferred to South Florida for his junior season.
