The three-time Grand Slam winner took to Instagram Stories to share a photo of his daughter’s snarky handwritten note demanding a vacation from the sport. Despite his best efforts, tiny Edie does not appear to be following in the footsteps of her renowned father.
The letter began, “Dear Daddy, I am not going to play tennis for a while, lots of love, Edie,” and was followed by a string of hearts and kisses. Along with her note, Little Edie provided a sketch of a stickman holding a tennis racket, with a giant red cross running through it.
Edie then signed off the letter with kisses and love hearts, demonstrating that they were still in love. Andy shared more details about the lesson on his Instagram Stories after snapping a snapshot of the amusing note.
