Who is Vero Rodríguez?

Vero Rodríguez was born on 26 March 1987 in Mexico City. When she was younger, she had a strong fascination with sports. Not much information is known about her parents. She earned an honors degree in 2010 from Universidad Iberoamericana, where she majored in communications.

Rodríguez is a devoted fan of the Mexican football team UNAM Pumas and attributes her passion for sports to the team. She also cheers for Juventus, an Italian football team. Her interests include going to the beach, surfing, creating art, and taking pictures.

Rodríguez wed Irish professional wrestler Fergal Devitt, better known by his ring name Finn Bálor, in a private ceremony in Tulum on August 19, 2019. They had publicly acknowledged their relationship in June of that same year during an interview at the UEFA Champions League final and currently reside in Orlando, Florida.

Her spouse Finn Balor has played a significant role in the WWE for a considerable amount of time. After making his professional wrestling debut in 2000 at the age of just 19, Balor joined the WWE in 2014.

Career

At the age of 20, Rodríguez started working as a reporter for Pumas TV in 2007. She documented the everyday activities of her favorite football team, the UNAM Pumas, on the show.

When she was a student, she served as the show’s host and was invited to do so by a classmate who worked as the program’s producer. She began working for MVS Televisión after receiving her degree, where she co-hosted the show Locas para el Ftbol.

After a number of years of trying out, Rodriguez was hired by Fox Sports Latin America in 2014. She started off as the host of the sporting entertainment shows Fox Para Todos and La Previa del Fin de Semana, which served as previews of upcoming Pachuca and León games and broadcast before each match

In 2016, Rodríguez covered the UEFA Champions League Final in Milan, Italy, as well as the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Together with Jimena Sánchez, she started hosting the wrestling news show WWE Saturday Night in 2017 as well as the sports entertainment program Lo Mejor de Fox Sports.

In 2018, Rodríguez took over as the host of Agenda Fox Sports, a morning sports news program that airs on Fox Sports in Latin America and Fox Deportes in the US. She has also covered Formula 1 and Formula E events as a reporter. She covered the UEFA Champions League Final that took place in Madrid, Spain, in 2019.

Rodríguez declared in January 2020 that she would be taking a brief leave from Fox Sports in order to relocate from Mexico to the United States. She was able to continue hosting her regular programs at home for a while due to the COVID-19 outbreak. She had to extend her break, though, due to personal concerns.

She provided content for other sports shows, podcasts, and websites while she was gone. On May 3, 2021, she made a comeback on an edition of Agenda Fox Sports. Rodríguez served as an ambassador for the English football team Wolverhampton Wanderers and a Spanish broadcaster for Fox Sports Mexico, hosting programs and reporting on events. In November 2021, Fox Sports Mexico and Fox Deportes fired F.C. Rodriguez.
