Bobby Lashley’s WWE career began fully in 2005. He used his own name to make his SmackDown debut. His opponent in his first match, which he won, was Simon Dean. Lashley was the first wrestler from SmackDown to qualify for the 2006 survivor series. Lashley startled everyone by going to ECW following a successful run on SmackDown.
He was also a two-time Armed Forces Champion, a three-time National Amateur Wrestling Champion, a four-time All-American, and a silver medalist in the 2002 Military World Championship.
