George Foreman was born on January 10, 1949. He is an author, businessman, clergyman, and former professional boxer from the United States. He competed from 1967 until 1997. He won the gold medal at the Olympics and is a two-time world heavyweight champion. He made his name as an entrepreneur with the George Foreman Grill.
Following a difficult upbringing, Foreman decided to try amateur boxing and took home the gold in the heavyweight division in the 1968 Summer Olympics. He turned professional the next year, and in 1973, after stunning the previously unbeaten Joe Frazier in the second round, he captured the heavyweight world championship.

After one successful title defense against Axel Schulz, he gave up the WBA belt rather than face his required title defense. On June 28, 1995, Foreman also gave up the IBF title. He was the oldest world heavyweight champion in history at the age of 46 years, 169 days.
After Bernard Hopkins, he was the second-oldest boxer in any weight division and the oldest heavyweight champion in history. He also holds the distinction of being the oldest person ever to win the heavyweight boxing world championship. He retired in 1997 at the age of 48 with a final record of 76 wins, 68 knockouts, 5 defeats, and no draws.

According to TMZ Sports, Freeda Foreman, a former professional boxer and the daughter of two-time heavyweight champion boxer George Foreman, passed away on Saturday in what appears to have been a suicide.
Freeda Foreman was reportedly found hanging in a closet inside her house, according to KTRK in Houston. Although they don’t think there was any wrongdoing, the inquiry remains. According to a source who talked with TMZ, asphyxiation is the likely cause of death. Foreman was 42 years old.
