Thomas Barwuah is the biological father of famous soccer player Mario Balotelli. His birthdate, siblings, and personal details are unknown. He was born in Ghana. Thomas and Rose Barwuah were a Ghanaian-born couple. They had four lovely children: Mario Balotelli, Enock Barwuah, Abigail Barwuah, and Angel Barwuah.

After Mario’s birth in Ghana, Thomas’ family relocated to Palermo, Italy. Mario has suffered from poor health since childhood. However, due to a digestive system abnormality, it became clear that Mario required specialist medical care.

He first lived with the Balotelli family during the week and returned to his biological parents on weekends. Later, he was permanently fostered by the Balotelli family and took their surname, Balotelli.

He dedicated his goals that put Italy in the final of the Euro 2012 football championships to his foster mother Silvia in June 2012. Balotelli had to wait until he was 18 to apply for Italian citizenship since his foster family had not adopted him.

Mario Balotelli Barwuah was born in Palermo, Italy on August 12, 1990. Balotelli began his professional career in 2005 with Lumezzane before joining Inter Milan in 2007. In 2010, Balotelli rejoined Inter boss Roberto Mancini at Manchester City, where he helped the club win the Premier League and FA Cup. In January 2013, he signed for AC Milan before returning to the Premier League with Liverpool 18 months later.

Balotelli returned to Milan on loan before heading to France, where he played for Nice and Marseille in Ligue 1. He returned to Italy for the third time, signing with Serie A team Brescia in the summer of 2019 and Serie B club Monza in late 2020. Balotelli joined Turkish club Adana Demirspor the following summer.

Balotelli made his debut for Italy in a friendly against the Ivory Coast in 2010. He has almost 30 caps and has represented his country at UEFA Euro 2012, the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2013, and the FIFA World Cup in 2014.
