Mia Sherwood’s husband Timothy Sherwood was born on 6 February 1969 in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. He is a former midfielder who currently manages professional football in England.
From 1987 to 2005, he was a midfielder for Blackburn Rovers, serving as team captain in 1995 as they won the Premier League. Moreover, he has represented Coventry City, Watford, Norwich City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Portsmouth. He participated in three matches for the England team in 1999.
Sherwood started his coaching career at Tottenham Hotspur, where he spent five years working his way up from assistant first-team coach to manager. He then served as the club’s manager from December 2013 until his dismissal in May 2014.
In February 2015, he resumed his managerial duties at Aston Villa, where he led them to the 2015 FA Cup final and prevented them from being demoted from the Premier League before being fired in October of that same year.
