Hugo’s life was spared through a deal with Cristiano Ronaldo
On the internet since 2014, a well-known tale involving Ronaldo and his brother has gone viral. It demonstrated the bond between the brothers and how sincerely Ronaldo desires everyone in his immediate vicinity to live a good life.
The father of Ronaldo was an alcoholic. Hugo, regrettably, had traveled the same path as his father. He started drinking. Ronaldo was vehemently opposed to it. The brothers struck a deal. Hugo had to give up alcohol and drug use if Ronaldo was to win the 2014 UEFA Champions League.
Ronaldo was among the best throughout that Champions League run, tallying a record-breaking 17 goals. He even scored in the championship game, in which Real Madrid defeated Atletico Madrid 4-1. After the victory, Ronaldo went to his brother and gave him a hug, keeping up with his end of the promise. Hugo is now employed and sober after Ronaldo also paid for his rehab.
