George Foreman was born on January 10, 1949, in Marshall, Texas. He grew up in Houston’s Fifth Ward community, Texas, with six siblings. Although he was raised by J. D. Foreman, whom his mother had married when George was a tiny child, Leroy Moorehead was his biological father. George, according to his book, was a troublesome youth.

He dropped out of school when he was 15 and worked as a mugger. After viewing an ad for the Job Corps on TV at the age of 16, Foreman had a change of heart and encouraged his mother to enroll him in the Corps. Foreman received his GED and trained as a carpenter and bricklayer through the Job Corps. He began training after moving to Pleasanton, California, with the assistance of a supervisor. Foreman was interested in football and adored Jim Brown but switched to boxing.
When he reclaimed the heavyweight title at the age of 45, Foreman was the world’s oldest heavyweight champion. He has two world heavyweight titles and is an Olympic gold medalist.
He had won all 40 of his professional fights, including a streak of 24 straight knockouts, when he was defeated by Muhammad Ali in the “Rumble in the Jungle” on October 30, 1974, in Kinshasa, Zaire (now Congo). He retired from the ring in 1977 to become an evangelist.

Andrea and Foreman have shared two children, a daughter Freeda Foreman, and a son, George Foreman III. The cause of George and his former partner’s divorce was kept a secret.

5. Mary Joan Martelly since 1985
Mary Joan Martelly is Forman’s fifth and final wife. They got married on March 27 1985 and they have been together ever since. The couple were blessed with five children together, named, George Foreman VI, Leola Foreman, Natalie Foreman, George Foreman V, and George Foreman IV.
George also has two adoptive daughters. In 2009, George adopted Isabella Brenda Lilja(Foreman). Three years later, in 2012, he adopted Courtney Isaac(Foreman). Mary and George are now residents of Houston.
