In the Aggies’ 2-2 draw with Oklahoma State, she had a season-high 33 minutes of playing time. On the day of her birthday, she also scored her first goal of the year in the Aggies’ triumph over Florida in the SEC Tournament quarterfinal.

Smith elected to forego his senior year of eligibility to play professionally after being voted a unanimous All-American in 1989.

During his long professional career, he carried for 18,355 yards, beating Walter Payton’s previous record. He also holds the career rushing touchdown record with 164. Smith is the only running back in history to win a Super Bowl championship, the NFL MVP award, the NFL rushing title, and the Super Bowl MVP award all in the same season (1993).
