She has three siblings, named, Bob Uecker Jr., Steve Uecker, and Sue Ann Uecker. Sadly, Leeann (1957-2022) died in March 2022 of ALS at age 65. Sadly, her younger brother Steve (1959-2012), a cowboy, died as a result of complications from the San Joaquin Valley Fever.

Bob Uecker’s Career
Bob Uecker was born on January 26, 1934, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a former Major League Baseball catcher who now works as a commentator for the Milwaukee Brewers.
He spent several years in the minor leagues with numerous affiliate organizations after signing with his hometown Milwaukee Braves in 1956, before making his major league debut in 1962. He was a below-average major league catcher who played for three teams in six seasons before retiring in 1967.

Uecker began a broadcasting career after retirement and has been a play-by-play announcer for Milwaukee Brewers radio broadcasts since 1971. Uecker rose to prominence in the 1970s and 1980s as a regular on late-night talk shows, when he was called “Mr. Baseball” by TV chat show host Johnny Carson.
He hosted various sports blooper shows and had a successful acting career, including roles as George Owens on Mr. Belvedere and as play-by-play announcer Harry Doyle in Major League and its two sequels.
In acknowledgment of his broadcasting career, Uecker received the National Baseball Hall of Fame’s Ford C. Frick Award in 2003. He begins his 53rd season as a Brewers announcer in 2023, giving him the second-longest tenure among active major league baseball broadcasters (behind Kansas City Royals broadcaster Denny Matthews).
